PROJECT BACKGROUND

Founded in 2011, String Theory Charter School is known for integrating academics with the performing and visual arts. The school’s mission focuses on nurturing creativity, innovation, and intellectual growth through programs in arts, sciences, and technology. With campuses serving diverse student needs, the institution continues to advance its infrastructure to ensure learning environments support focus, comfort, and sustained engagement. 

As part of its commitment to modernizing educational spaces, the school identified the need to upgrade its existing lighting systems. The legacy fluorescent fixtures were causing glare, uneven brightness, and higher maintenance demands, which negatively affected classroom ambience and operational efficiency. Consequently, the school's upgrade included classrooms, administrative offices, hallways, and support areas, with performance-driven lighting layouts designed to improve visibility, optimize energy use, and align with educational lighting standards.
